A SUMMERY OF VEE SPEERS

STYLE: Each of her series of photo's are different, but they all group together to make one big series of photo's. Some of her photo's are quite dramatic and dangerous like the Immortal Series where as some other of her photo's are calm and simple but still as good like the Birthday Party and the Thirteen series. Although these photo's may not be as dramatic as the Immortal series, they do have a dramatic effect on the reader, because they are so unusual and interesting. Two of her series are black and white, which varies her work.

TECHNIQUE: I think that all of her photo's are artificially lit in a studio, even the Immortal series. I think that she added in the background after taking the photo of the model. I think she has edited her photo's on a high advanced software.

NARRATIVE: I think that there is a story behind all of Vee's photographs. The Immortal series seems like it might have a dark story behind it, the models in the pictures look so sad, and in the background, there are tree's knocked over, and fire's blazing, it makes you think that maybe there homes or lives have been destroyed and that all of there clothes have too, or they are wearing no clothes because they feel like they have nothing left so what is the point of wearing clothes. This photo could have lots of different meanings behind it.
